Want great snorkeling without paying excursion prices? Take a cab to the Monkey Bar in Cozumel. Order chips and salsa and you’ll have access to some of the best shoreline snorkeling around. There’s a stair entry next door with excellent sea life. Watch your footing—it can be slippery—but once you’re in, it’s worth it
